Job summary

Brookdale Canton is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to cultivate meaningful connections with residents and plan engaging activities.

You will develop monthly calendars with residents, partner with the community leadership team to coordinate events, and support programs that enrich health and well-being.

The role may involve driving a community vehicle and requires at least one year of experience coordinating programs for adults; a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs for adults.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses a person-centered approach to build relationships with residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents based on their interests.
• Collaborates with the community leadership team to plan and execute events.
• Plans meaningful resident engagement activities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle when needed.
