Job summary

Brookdale seeks a Resident Engagement Coordinator to assist and enrich life within our communities. You will build relationships with residents, plan monthly activity calendars, coordinate events, and partner with the community leadership team to deliver meaningful programs.

The role emphasizes a person-centered approach, collaboration, and initiative to enhance resident well-being and community engagement. A valid driver's license may be required for certain activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs with adults.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar of resident activities in partnership with residents.
• Plans and coordinates special events with the community leadership team.
• Creates meaningful engagement opportunities for residents, including outings or on-site programs.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure programs align with resident needs and community goals.
