Job summary

Clh is seeking a Food Service Aide to support the dietary team in meal preparation, service, and sanitation for residents. You will help set up dining areas, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a clean, safe dining environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and teamwork. ServSafe certification is preferred. This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen and dining setting with resident-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and baking in accordance with recipes, special diets, and direction from the Cook/Baker.
• Set up dining areas, take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide excellent customer service.
• Bus tables, wash dishes, and clean/sanitize dining and kitchen areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Sweep and mop floors to ensure a safe and sanitary workspace.
• Review menus and work orders to determine food quantities and preparation needs.
• Prepare items in advance, including freezer pulls and next-day meal prep.
• Transport hot and cold food safely to and from the kitchen.
• Follow all food safety regulations, including proper temperature logging and documentation.
• Assist in training new food service staff as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
