Job summary

Vitality is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server to greet residents and guests, serve meals, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities include recording meals, assisting with daily operations, and adhering to infection control policies. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a focus on excellent customer service and strong communication. Some lifting and physical activity is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly, attentive service to residents and visitors.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication and listening skills with residents and coworkers.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dining room setting.
• Comfort with standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and movement throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, visitors, and team members courteously.
• Serve meals and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Record guest meals and report to supervisor.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and safe storage of supplies.
• Assist with daily operations and event meal preparations.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Attend onboarding and training sessions as requested.
• Support emergency plans and report unsafe conditions.
