Job summary

Forefront in the United States is seeking a dining services assistant to set up the dining area and trays for meal services, following food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.

You will assist cooks and supervisors with food preparation and service, deliver residents’ meal carts, and set and clean assigned dining areas to serve residents. This hourly position requires flexibility across days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Food safety guidelines must be followed.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Community regulations.
• Ability to attend department meetings and complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining area and trays for meal services.
• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and maintain dining areas.
• Record temperatures on refrigerators and keep areas clean.
• Wash and store dishes; uphold sanitation of the kitchen.
• Support conformance with health, safety, HIPAA, accreditation standards.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Complete required training and certifications.
