Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Westfield, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, following safety and sanitation standards and planned menus. You will work with the Food Service Manager on inventory, store food properly, and supervise dietary staff when needed; setup breakfast bars and service stations; and use computerized systems to ensure a great dining experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
  • Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
  • Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
  • Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
  • Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
  • Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
  • Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
