Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking an on-site Supervisor: Executive Chef or Management Team to oversee meal service for residents and guests. You will greet diners, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of meals with attention to hospitality and sanitation.

You will collaborate with kitchen and dining staff, uphold company procedures, and maintain professionalism while protecting resident confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to keep business and resident information confidential
• Demonstrates strong time management and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and visitors at table before taking orders or serving.
• Take meal orders politely and deliver to kitchen using POS Tablets or paper tickets.
• Serve beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals, and desserts.
• Respond to resident needs and report issues to management when unsolved.
• Deliver meal trays to resident apartments as needed.
• Bus and clean dining room tables and chairs; set tables for next meal.
• Complete side duties (sugar/creamer, beverages, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager or Dining Room Coordinator
