Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a friendly and dependable dining room server to uphold our residents' dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and excellent customer service in a senior living environment. You must follow sanitation procedures, maintain confidentiality, and be able to work under time constraints while delivering

Qualifications

• English communication required with residents and staff (oral and written).
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and handling time constraints.
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents (and visitors) at table before taking orders or serving.
• Take meal orders and deliver to kitchen using POS tablets or tickets.
• Serve beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals, and desserts.
• Respond to resident needs and report issues to management when not resolved.
• Deliver meal trays to resident apartments as needed.
• Bus and clean dining room tables and chairs; reset tables for next meal.
• Complete side duties such as sugar/creamer setup and beverage center cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager or Dining Room Coordinator.
