Qualifications

• Maintains food handlers permit and follows state sanitation regulations.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Operate with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Provide excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and take orders at table or station.
• Take meal orders accurately and relay to kitchen; use POS tablets or paper tickets.
• Serve beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals and desserts.
• Address resident needs and report issues to management.
• Deliver meal trays to resident rooms or dining areas as needed.
• Bus and clean dining room tables and chairs; set tables for next meals.
• Perform side duties (sugar/creamer, beverage center cleaning).
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager or Dining Room Coordinator.
