The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for prior cooking/food prep and ServSafe or Food Handler certification. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods, with opportunities for hands-on training and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
