Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma, basic cooking skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred cook or food preparation experience.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meets standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
