This role supports resident well-being and team operations. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with food safety guidelines. Certifications may be required by state law; prior cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation; keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within service area may be required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing customer service.
