Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a, dedicated Cook - Dietary Aide for our facility in Atlanta, GA. The role supports meal preparation, tray assembly, and resident nourishment needs in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, serving meals, maintaining sanitation, recording temperatures, and helping with inventory and equipment. Prior long-term care food service experience is preferred; applicant should be reliable and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production is preferred.
• Commitment to safety, infection control and proper food handling.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, salads, desserts and nourishments for residents.
• Serve nourishments and maintain proper serving temperatures and portions.
• Store leftovers and opened foods according to procedures.
• Set up tray line and deliver trays to residents in dining areas.
• Clean tables, dining area and kitchen workspaces after service.
• Monitor food temperatures and document fridge and freezer readings.
• Support kitchen staff and ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment.
