Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus and recipes, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation in a clean, safe kitchen.

In this role you will work with a team to meet dietary needs, maintain food safety standards, assist with inventory, and provide excellent resident and staff service. Residency in the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
