Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following sanitation guidelines and participating in inventory tasks.

The role offers a $20.00–$22.00 per hour wage, with a $600 retention bonus for new hires and benefits including telemedicine and retirement supports. Residency within the service area is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must follow COVID-19 vaccination policies where required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
