Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cook/food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Positive attitude and communication with residents and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine tasks and work around cleaning products.
• May require sanitation training and ServSafe/food handler certification.
• Residency within service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation to meet standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
