Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, supervising CFY or students, and ensuring discharge planning aligns with physician orders and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (master's/doctorate preferred).
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Continuing education requirements per state practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and functional independence.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide in-services and training for facility staff; maintain timely documentation.
