Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN role to evaluate and treat residents and coordinate with families, physicians, and the health team. You will maintain documentation in medical records and participate in staff in-services.

The position requires licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state and the ability to supervise CFY or students as applicable, with a focus on safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain licensure.
• Proficient in health record systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care and activities.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in medical records.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and provide staff education.
