Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, collaborate with families and the health team, and maintain comprehensive documentation in medical records. The role requires a CA license, a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, and experience supervising CFY or students.

You will participate in care conferences and contribute to program development in a facility setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in CA.
• Experience providing evaluation and treatment plans for residents.
• Strong documentation and communication with families and health team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, staff, residents, and families.
• Document timely, accurate records per policy and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
