Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain medical records. You will develop treatment plans and train facility staff, while supervising CFY students as needed.

Responsibilities include regular communication with the care team, participation in care conferences, and ensuring documentation meets facility and payer requirements. A state license and ongoing CE compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; master/doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state and in good standing.
• Proficient with Net Health and PointClick Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY/Clinical Fellows or students as applicable.
• Complete timely and compliant documentation per regulations.
