Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will join a team dedicated to excellence and delivering positive dining experiences for the people we serve.

Responsibilities include following menus and recipes, ensuring quality and presentation, maintaining food safety and sanitation, assisting with inventory, and providing courteous interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior cooking or food prep experience is preferred.
• Follow recipes and dietary restrictions; ensure food safety standards.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply; vaccination required where mandated.
• State/county rules may require ServSafe or Food Handler certification.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
