Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will work under established menus, ensuring portion control and quality.

The role emphasizes safety and sanitation, positive resident interactions, and collaboration with staff. Benefits include telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, and more, with pay starting at USD 15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food-prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand or walk for extended periods.
• Able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
