Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents in a collaborative care setting. You will respond to call lights, support personal care, and help sustain residents’ dignity while enabling as much independence as possible.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, document care in medical records, assist with meals, therapies, and activities, and contribute to a safe, respectful environment for

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA certification current.
• Illinois CNA certification current.
• Enrollment or eligibility for Pennsylvania registry within 120 days of training completion.
• Ability to communicate with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides daily living activities in scope of practice; answers call lights and reports observations to nurse.
• Assists residents with personal care and preserves dignity by enabling self-care where possible.
• Observes residents for changes and reports to nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists during mealtimes and with full feeding assistance as needed.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families, offering compassionate support.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and follows safety protocols.
