Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking caring nursing assistants to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate environment. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with a resident-centered focus led by nursing leadership.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, therapies, and documentation, while maintaining dignity and safety. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication with residents, and ongoing involvement in care plans.

Qualifications

• Missouri: Current CNA certification.
• Illinois: Current CNA certification.
• Pennsylvania: Enrollment or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of training completion on PA Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and provide ADL care per scope of practice.
• Support residents’ personal care needs and promote independence.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assist with meals and feed residents needing full assistance.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Support residents’ involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
