Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Monroeville is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus

The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak English clearly
• Experience: Knowledge and experience working with the elderly; previous dementia experience preferred
• Certification: Required according to state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs for activities such as washing, bathing, dressing, writing, and cleaning; read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; operate laundry and kitchen appliances; maintain good physical and mental health.
