Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Westlake is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver with a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to regular interactions with residents and families to ensure their satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading, writing, and English communication skills
• Experience: Prior experience working with elderly, dementia experience preferred
• Certification: Required per state regulations; completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for extended periods; push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds; full use of hands, arms, and legs; reading thermometers, charts, and operating appliances; maintaining good physical and mental health.
