Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to help maintain a joyful, vibrant community by guiding staff orientation and training, and serving as a mentor to team members.

You will coordinate care with the nursing team, participate in service plan meetings with residents and families, and ensure timely medication administration while supporting daily living activities for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold LPN, CNA, or HCA license.
• Experience in Assisted Living.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Maintains Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Creates and keeps care staff schedule; arranges coverage for PTO and reviews assignments with management.
• Acts as on-call staff and fills shifts as needed by Director of Nursing Services.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including medications and treatments, promoting self-care and independence.
• Coordinates care with outside agencies and participates in service plan meetings with residents and families.
• Monitors physician orders daily and ensures MAR accuracy and orders are signed off by the Medication Aide.
• Completes monthly MAR reviews and follows up on discrepancies.
• Attends required meetings and trainings and supports new staff orientation as lead trainer.
