Job summary

The Central Arkansas Assisted Living Community is seeking a Support Nurse who reports to the Director of Nursing (DON). You will assist with med pass, coordinate orders, help admit residents and maintain charts.

You will work with physicians and APRNs, support QA, participate in training of aides, and help ensure licensing compliance and smooth clinical operations across shifts. Travel to patient homes may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Assisting with med pass and orders.
• Knowledge of nursing workflows in assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with med pass and orders processing.
• Round with physicians/APRNs and document new orders.
• Assist with admissions and resident charting.
• Assist with quarterly pharmacy orders and lab results.
• Maintain med room organization and conduct chart audits.
• Support training and onboarding of aides; interview/hire support.
• Participate in QA and ensure regulatory compliance.
