Job summary

The Springs of Pine Bluff in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support leadership within our skilled nursing team. The role focuses on delivering quality resident care, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a supportive environment.

As ADON, you'll supervise RNs/LPNs/CNAs, coordinate daily nursing operations, assist with hiring and performance evaluations, and work with physicians and families to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Arkansas)
• Several years of nursing experience, often in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical/medication aides (LPNs/MedAides), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Helping manage daily nursing operations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Assisting with staff hiring, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitoring resident care plans and addressing clinical concerns.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, and resident complaints.
• Participating in quality improvement and infection prevention programs.
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation and ensuring regulatory standards are met.
• Working with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to coordinate resident care.
• Filling in for the Director of Nursing when needed.
