Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Services department for high-quality geriatric patient care in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

Requires an active MA RN license, a BSN or ASN, CPR certification, and at least two years of geriatric nursing experience; duties include staffing, supervision, infection control, policy compliance, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in Massachusetts in good standing.
• CPR certification required on hire or during orientation.
• Two years geriatric nursing experience preferred in post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON in planning, developing, directing Nursing Services.
• Interview, hire, train, supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control.
• Maintain confidentiality and adherence to Life Care policies.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed and ensure patient safety.
