Job summary

Central Arkansas Assisted Living Community is seeking an LPN/RN to join our team to care for aging residents, administer medications, and follow care orders. You will also work closely with other nurses and nursing assistants, offering support and guidance, making rounds with doctors as needed, and being a supportive, helpful presence to our patients.

Qualifications

• Active, valid nursing license in the state.
• Experience in senior resident services preferred.
• Experience in staff supervision.
• Medication supervision within the scope of state regulations.
• Demonstrates effective time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team and accepts constructive criticism.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to check on each patient assigned, assessing current well-being and making notes on issues as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Make rounds with physicians as needed, offering personal experience with the patient and taking care notes.
• Assisting other nurses or nursing assistants as needed to keep the shift moving and provide excellent care.
• Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients.
