Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Nursing Schedule Coordinator to help ensure appropriate staffing levels for high-quality resident care in Indiana. The role requires coordination with leadership to align staffing with budgetary and regulatory guidelines, while maintaining compassionate, CARE-driven service.

Responsibilities include creating schedules, communicating needs across departments, and supporting a collaborative team culture focused on excellent geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Previous nurse aide/nurse scheduling experience, preferably in a long-term care environment.
• Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs and ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
• Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve scheduling patterns and resolutions in a timely, courteous manner.
