Job summary

Transforming Age's AlmaVia of San Francisco is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to support daily operations and resident well-being. The role includes screening and orientation of new staff, conducting audits, and ensuring timely medication refills under physician orders.

You will organize the medication room, oversee staff schedules, and assist with move-ins and onboarding while maintaining safety protocols and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of some college coursework or Associates’/Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum six months’ experience in long‑term care or related field.
• Understanding of medication program within RCFE.
• Knowledge of Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Office 365).

Responsibilities

• Screening and orientation of new Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians.
• Conducts audits and updates per procedures.
• Ensures timely refills and processing of monthly cycle medication refills.
• Orders laboratory tests as needed.
• Organizes the medication room for efficiency.
• Provides and administers medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Oversees and publishes the schedule for Resident Assistants.
• Supports orientation for new residents during move-in.
