Job summary

AlmaVia of San Francisco is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to support clinical operations for our senior living community. You will assist in onboarding Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians, perform audits, manage medication refills, and coordinate care under established policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma (some college preferred), at least six months in long-term care, knowledge of Title 22 RCFE guidelines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college coursework or degree preferred.
• Six months' experience in long-term care, home care, or related field.
• Understanding of RCFE medication programs and Title 22 guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork in a multi-cultural setting.
• Ability to pass background check and possible screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and orientation of new Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians.
• Audit and update procedures; ensure follow-up on audit items.
• Ensure medications are available; facilitate timely refills and monthly cycle processing.
• Order laboratory tests as needed.
• Organize the medication room for optimal efficiency.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed; report issues.
• Oversee and publish the schedule for Resident Assistants; provide coverage as needed.
• Coordinate move-ins and onboarding for new residents.
• Support changes that elevate quality of care and operational efficiency.
