Job summary

AlmaVia of San Francisco is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to support the screening and orientation of new Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians, conduct audits, and ensure timely medication refills. The role also involves organizing the medication room and coordinating monthly refill processes.

You will assist with resident move-ins, onboarding, and ongoing care improvements, contributing to a compassionate, safe environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma. Some college coursework or Associates’/Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of six months’ experience in a long-term care setting, home care or related field.
• Understanding of the medication program within a RCFE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and compassion for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and orientation of new Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians.
• Conduct audits and ensure follow-up actions to address items identified during internal audits.
• Organize the medication room for optimal efficiency and assist with timely refills.
• Review and process monthly cycle medication refills and order laboratory tests as needed.
• Coordinate and orientation for new residents during move-in and onboarding.
• Support changes that elevate quality of care, safety, and operational efficiency.
