Job summary

Valencia at Draper Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking an experienced Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead caregiving teams and ensure exceptional, person-centered resident care. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and partner with the Wellness Director to align care plans with resident needs.

The RCC role requires a servant leader mentality, strong communication, and a focus on quality, accountability, and teamwork in a community-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of leadership experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Experience supervising caregivers or CNAs.
• Strong understanding of resident assessments, care plans, and QA.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care operations, assessments, and care plan accuracy.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise caregivers; manage schedules within budgets.
• Coordinate staffing based on acuity and oversee on-call coverage.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for surveys/inspections.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and external providers to support residents.
