Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to serve as the clinical leader of the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, team performance and adherence to Sunrise’s care standards.

The position leads nursing and care programs, supervises staff, coordinates assessments, and partners with physicians to maintain exceptional resident health and well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license required or equivalent licensure.
• Clinical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness

What You’ll Do:

Pay Range:

78,208.00 - 107,952.00
