Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence, oversee health and care coordination, and ensure resident-centered services. You will supervise nursing staff, conduct assessments, and drive QAPI and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes staffing, budgeting, and collaboration with physicians and clinical partners to elevate resident health and wellness at our Maryland community.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with leadership experience in senior living or long-term care.
• Experience leading nursing staff, care programs and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to conduct resident assessments and develop ISP (Individualized Service Plans).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP.
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage clinical staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.
