Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence across the community. You will oversee health, wellness, and care coordination, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will manage the nursing team, drive performance improvements, monitor conditions, and collaborate with physicians and clinical partners to elevate resident health outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and active status.
• Ability to lead nursing teams and care programs.
• Experience with ISP development and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP development.
• Monitor condition changes and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

What You'll Do

• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness
