Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Director of Resident Care to lead clinical operations in our Assisted Living community in Stillwater, OK. You will oversee resident care staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality care and resident satisfaction.

You’ll evaluate residents at move-in and during changes, coordinate care plans, and work closely with families and staff. The role reports to Health and Wellness leadership and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in Assisted Living; proven management experience required.
• Certified as Med Aide as required by state law; maintain current certification
• Compassion for and desire to work with older adults
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage budgets and interpret instructions
• Experience coordinating with residents, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents prior to move-in and with changes in condition
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to meet needs
• Participate in care conferences and update service plans
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Care Partners and activity staff
• Manage staff performance, provide coaching, ensure HR compliance
• Verify hours, manage scheduling within budget
• Monitor resident health activities and medication management
• Observe health status and report changes to Director
• Conduct pre-move-in screenings and document properly
• Coordinate appointments and in-house services
• Maintain resident records and MAR reviews
