Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Director, Resident Care to lead clinical operations within our Assisted Living community. You will oversee resident care staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality care and resident satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating care plans, communicating with families, and maintaining documentation while leading a team of care professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in Assisted Living; proven management experience required.
• Certified as Med Aide as required by state law; maintain current certification.
• Compassion for and desire to work with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all residents are evaluated prior to move-in and with changes in condition.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to meet individual needs.
• Participate in care conferences and update service plans accordingly.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Care Partners and activity staff.
• Manage staff performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with HR guidelines.
