Job summary

Avamere at Hermiston is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to coordinate resident care needs and staffing, including maintaining schedules and updating logs. You will train Caregivers and Medication Techs and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The RCC will also supervise in the absence of the Director of Health Services, participate in audits, and support daily resident care operations with warmth and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in Memory Care/Unit or Assisted Living is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care needs and staffing schedules.
• Maintain physician appointment and pharmacy logs.
• Document changes in residents’ status and care plans.
• Supervise and train Caregivers and Medication Techs.
• Conduct quarterly audits and evaluations.
• Participate in morning stand-up meetings.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• On-call staffing after hours and weekends.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment.
