Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and comply with safety standards while delivering friendly service.

We offer hands-on training, opportunities for career development, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our team, with competitive pay starting from $19.50 per hour. Residency within service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Residency within service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
