Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure meals meet quality and presentation standards and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, handling dietary restrictions, and collaborating with staff to provide excellent resident service. This full-time role supports residents daily with meals and relies on ServSafe or Food Handler certification where

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
