Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Cook for a long-term care facility. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow menus, and ensure safety and quality in a resident-focused kitchen. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and adherence to dietary requirements, with training and opportunities for career development.

Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, and EAP, supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Must follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• ServSafe or Food Handler cert may be required by state law.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
