Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervisor directions. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, document observations, and maintain a caring, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include reporting changes, preserving confidentiality, and helping residents with meals, mobility, and personal care while following facility policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in a clear, informative manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily activities, transfers, and mobility as trained.
• Ensure the resident's room, belongings, and supplies are organized and safe.
