Job summary

PACS is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services. You will identify residents, follow care plans, and assist with daily activities while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

The role requires adherence to confidentiality, accurate charting, and prompt communication with nursing staff. CPR is preferred and compliance with facility policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Licensed CNA required.
• CPR preferred.
• Ability to read and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals.
• Record entries clearly in charts and flow sheets.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with daily activities and personal care as directed.
• Support safe transfers and positioning of residents, including bed, chair, and mobility aids.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and check on needs during shift.
• Participate in nursing handoffs and report any incidents or injuries.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous chemicals.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new or returning residents and maintain a calm environment.
