Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant for a Florida facility. The role involves providing routine nursing care per resident care plans, identifying residents via wristband, and ensuring rooms are prepared for admission and transfer.

You will document activities, monitor resident condition, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor. Responsibilities include assisting with meals, mobility, and daily activities, while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Must be able to write clear reports and notes for records.
• Ability to present information to managers and staff.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, and ratios in practical tasks.
• Ability to solve problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plan.
• Identify residents with wristband/photo ID before tasks.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow protection policies.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers of residents.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for new admissions or transfers.
• Escort and orient residents and communicate with team.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and oral care as needed.
• Observe for skin issues and report any changes to prevent decubitus ulcers.
