Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is hiring a Part-Time Resident Care Assistant for the 4pm-10pm shift in Grand Rapids, MI. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, monitor residents, and support mealtimes in assisted living and memory care areas. The role emphasizes safety, warmth, and compassionate service.

The schedule is 21 hours per week, with 2nd shift hours, and includes weekend variation. Eligible candidates must be 18+, with caregiver experience and ADL familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Experience with ADLs preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Previous working knowledge of EMAR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime – Help residents enjoy meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Schedule: Part-time, 21 hours per week | 2nd shift, 4pm - 10pm | Varies Monday - Friday | every other weekend | No scheduling mandation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a caregiver role, preferred.
• Experience with ADLs, preferred.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system, preferred.
