Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide for Delmar Place in Delmar, NY. This full-time night role (11pm–7am) focuses on compassionate care for memory-impaired residents, assisting with bathing, grooming, and daily activities while preserving dignity.

You will document care, ensure residents’ rights are respected, report changes to supervisors, and support community activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred or required by law.
• One year working in a caregiving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsabilités

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming and dressing while preserving dignity.
• Ensure compliance with residents’ rights and regulations.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Encourage residents to participate in community activities.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide.

Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence


• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights


• Maintain and document proper records of care


• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor:evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.


• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred


• Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law


• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred


• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
